Spotlight on Success Local Heroes Awards

Celebrating our past, present and future!

October was chosen as the month for the celebration because National Coming Out Day already was established as a widely known event, on October 11, and October commemorates the first march on Washington by LGBTQ people in 1979. LGBTQ History Month encourages honesty and openness about being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and celebrates our diverse LGBTQ community.

The ONE Community Spotlight on Success, Local Heroes Awards Ceremony applaud ONE Community LGBTQ and allied business and community heroes for their commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality for all Arizonans.

This luncheon celebrates LGBTQ History, our present LGBT and allied business leaders, their commitment to community and ensures a brighter future for the LGBTQ and allied community through our raffle program prior to and during the event which benefits the ONE Community Foundation.
